Well, well, what a day we had. All of you who didn't make it really missed out on the show and tell. There was some amazing art and Demo's. Laurie's brought her Leprechaun figurine, Julie a bird cane to share, Nancy's under construction Mermaid, PC wine glass, necklace. Last but not least Lynne O. had new Corgi pics and PC jewelry box. I if I missed something, I apologize now)
To everyone that Demo'd today thank you. Laurie P. demo'd Faux Turquoise, as well as had completed not one but two finished necklaces. Pattie S. showed Faux Jasper with completed Cabochon. Beth W. Demo's Faux Lapis and then Nancy W. Demo'd Faux abalone, with completed cuff bracelet.
The last three demo's where Julie E. with Faux Opal, Cheryl S. did Faux Crackle Raku, and Maggie W. wrapped up with Malachite. All accreditation were given.
Fun was had by all. A big Thank You to Jenny for donating a new clay oven to the guild. We love it!
Guild business was discussed. For April, Maggie will Demo Sculpted Fairy Doors. And May's meeting since it falls on Memorial Week has been cancelled. We will resume on the 4th Saturday of June at our regularly scheduled time. The Demo will be on Pardo Translucency. We would also like to encourage someone to volunteer for the Secretaries and Treasurer position. Maggie and I could use some help running our expanding guild. Dues are also due in June. Laurie P. is putting a Monroe order together. So, if you are needing to order any clay or supplies for BRPCG clay day in two weeks or for the Retreat, please contact her.
Well that about wraps it up. See y'all next time.
Cheryl
